On this first of quarterly events at the Winterville Mounds,
we will explore the museum and the mount site and get to make a craft.

American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training

January 19, 2008

Topics taught in training to help you become a successful babysitter are:  Safety and Play, Leadership, Basic Care, Professionalism, First Aid, and more.

Who:  Girl Scouts 11 years old and older  
Time:  8:30 am to 3 pm. (Lunch will be provided)
Where:  Greenwood Service Center, 305 E. Washington St., Greenwood
Cost:  $25.00 (includes handbook, backpack w/babysitter supplies and certificate)

Zoo Snooze

Have you ever wondered what happens at the zoo late at night? Join other Brownies and Juniors on a moonlight Safari at the Memphis Zoo. Meet animals up close!

Sleep in a classroom with carpeted floor and restroom facilities (sorry, no showers). Your fee includes dinner, snack, breakfast, and admission to the zoo the following day. For troops of 14 or less, one adult admitted free; for troops of 15 or more, two adults will be admitted free.
