DIRECTOR’S CORNER
Camp was a great success! We had a wonderful time. Everyone made new friends, and was given a “nickname”. We learned a lot of new songs. The girls enjoyed swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, paddle boating, golfing, archery, and making camp fire Smores. The girls looked forward to the trading post opening everyday to spend their money and to eat fun snacks. Every group of girls, along with their counselors, took pictures of all the fun activities that occurred. “It was hot and humid”, but thank God for bottled water that was available this year!!! Cedar Cove
The girls enjoyed canoeing, paddle boating, hiking , took long trail hikes, and made bath salt.
Eagle’s Nest
The girls enjoyed the horseback trail riding everyday. Girls that thought they were afraid of horses – learned to love horses at the end. Merrill Angel and his staff were awesome to work with.
Tall Timbers
The girls made new friends and enjoyed all the activities. At times they got a little home sick but the counselors were there to help sooth away their tears.
NURSE'S REPORT
I enjoyed the girls! They were very sweet and patient. The medications, that were issued to them by prescriptions, the girls knew when to take it and how much to take. They came in on a regular schedule basis. I had a few headaches but not too many. We had one bad storm night. The girls did well! Some of them were a little afraid, but when the next morning came, everyone was feeling great and ready to play. We all had a lot of fun! I even got visitors to the infirmary just to say “hello” and say “Nurse, how are you today”. This being my first time at camp, as the nurse, was a very good experience for me.
